As many of you know I put up a few vids every now and then on this forum but I usually choose not to say much as I believe that my opinions etc are my own and I leave it up to others who view them to also have their own individual thoughts, views, judgements and conclusions etc.
However, yesterday my family and I helped again with our local clean beach project and I decided to reach out to you, who are I assume, like minded lovers of the ocean.
As many of you must know there is so much crap in and around our oceans and beaches and it seems to be getting worse and worse. I urge all of you to get involved in any way that you can and get out there and help keep the environment and especially the ocean that we all love to play in and which brings us so much enjoyment as clean as we can. For a start, say 'no to plastics', or if you have to use it try and recycle as much as possible as way too much is ending up in our oceans and on our beaches.
My family and friends also choose to be part of the 'pick-up three' movement. Whenever your out and about, not just at the beach but anywhere, just pick up three bits of rubbish every time. You would be surprised at how effective this can be, especially with the youngsters.
OK, rant over, but I urge all of you to get on board and get involved and do whatever you can to make a difference so that our kids and grandkids can continue to enjoy the 'Big Blue' just as we have. Cheers.
Here is Kai Lenny's latest project. Getting involved to protect the environment.
