Looks like the outside part of the point... The point with the best viewing carpark in the world (possibly) (I lived in Sydney for quite a while, and know the set ups like I know my dog!). But if so, was it shot from the carpark? That camera angle confuses me a little bit... Option 2 for me is Winki (NSW).

The Winki (NSW) & Bower viewing points are right up there with Bells Beach, but they can't hold the volumes of people that Bells can.

Edit - real surf states The Y (Dee Why) anyway. That carpark viewing spot is brilliant though! I would pay some good coin to be able to go back in time, and watch MP surf a session out there.

Surf club roof with a lens !? From way back at the surf club, I thought the (vertical) angle would have flatter? And the foreground water out of focus (with a big lens that would be required)...

I agree with Casso & Mak !
But in all fairness, it would be easy enough to crease a board in a long session with solid swells... caught inside once can potentially do it to you.
