Just got home this morning from Surf Expo - Florida. For a SUP paddler it's a bit like being inside Charlies chocolate factory when your name is Augustus Glute.

I was working inside a booth there and spent heaps of time looking around at the new stuff.

Highlights I saw were:

- Danny Ching new Hippo Stick paddles

- FCS New system called FCS 2. Also another much like Glass ons with rovings base etc. These guys are on fire.

- New Go Pro accessories and Range


Also there was heaps of promo girls that would make your eyes fall out. American girls are also extremely friendly.

Here are some pics and vids. SUP Yoga is huge in the US. I spoke with heaps of these girls as they love the NSP's as they are one of the only boards they keep for more than a single season and still sell for a profit at the end. Many other boards do not even last for 1 season. They wanted to test the new deck pad designs as it's a bit grippier than before. Looks better too.....









Some of the new range on display. The 9'2 on the back rack was a bit of a hit! Extremely light, strong and well designed.

A vid worth watching - only to see the stability of the new look 10'2 of course.

A lovely gentleman at the show was also nice enough to give me a new sticker.

It is now on my car.

Trust me DJ, a DJ photo journal of Surf Expo would be amazing. Bands playing, promo girls, general American bigness to everything.

You could spend 3 days just looking at all of the stuff, some great, some not so. The GoPro guys would love you.......
