Not sure of the water temp but we are starting to get mid 20s but still not warm enough for boardies if you go out for a few hours. I used boardies last week because the surf was small and I didnt plan on falling in too much. And today after a 4 hour sesh at Hillys local I did get a bit warm in the wettie.
After lunch the wind was in but light. I got on a big board and sail and went out in boardies. A bit cold in the water but on the beach it was toasty

Hey Greeny you need some more of that elephant seal blubber that dogman was talking about, mind you I've got some and am still using the wetty, have gone from a steamer to a springy the last couple of sessions though.
Doing my last nightshift tonight then I've got three weeks off and heading North to the warmer weather.....can't wait.

It amazes me the difference 400 km's makes to the weather, Iv'e been in boardies all winter and only used the light wetty top twice

I will be driving up when you will be driving back. Maybe we can catch up in Gero for a paddle, kite and sail

At Exy ATM, your not missing much here, there has been a bit of wind but absolutely no swell.
Heading South soon and will be checking out of the 'Hilton' on 14th AM, prob stay at Gero or thereabouts overnight on the way back, hopefully for arvo kite, morning paddle.
