Some one recently asked about suping in Thailand, I missed the forum but thought I would add this. It is now surf season inThailand and no it is not bali but there are some good waves. Especially for an sup. Phuket is pretty crowded and not advised but off the beaten track (fly to Krabi) is Koh Lanta. Nothing like 3-6 foot for a week with no one else there. Accommodation is really cheap now too.
