Today's reader's best pic in the GC Bulletin features Roar's training group on another beautiful spring morning.
And for those of you who don't get up and enjoy the early mornings, here's what you're missing out on...

The carbon tax is affecting SUP clubs?

But on another note, how much cooler do we sound if we call ourselves Hawaiian stand-up paddleboard riders rather than SUPers? Yeah it takes longer to say but how sexy is that?

I agree PT,

Kristi could maybe pass for Hawaiian at a pinch, but I doubt I could make it work and you in the cricket gear no hope me thinks.

I think the carbon tax bit is referring to an article on the opposite page about the local surf clubs.

But love how they refer to us as Hawaiians

Taxing carbon! There goes that new paddle I was going to order. Actually come to think of it maybe we could get some sort of rebate for carbon storage

whoa, saw mike with his new lb, looked at the surf and decided the 12'6 was the go.

ummm, it was bigger then i thought with a bump that was tossing the big board around.

got hammered a few times but got some good'uns. would have been better on the shortie, but at least i had the paddle speed to avoid trouble

and yes i wore a leegie a coiled number which seems to be a lot longer now. funny what 12'6 x 28 x 6' board does to a legrope
