Any recommendations for a cover to suit a board 9'2 x 29.5", probably 5mm I would think, and hoping to steer away from the Tarp type material on the outside, if possible. Needs to be a good fit, ie no 10 foot covers. Had the really wide ProLimit cover previously, it was probably OK value for what it was, may end up getting the same (narrower version though) again.
From what I have seen on the net, the OAM in the 9'6 seems to be the standout, but also one of the more expensive covers. The 9 foot Balin could be an option also, not sure but I think I read somewhere that they are really generous with their sizing, so a 9'2 should fit.
Has anybody seen the JP covers? They are listed on the JP web site but can't see them at any retailers on line.

Thanks,
Scott.

Hi Scott,

Flying Objects makes a 9'6 x 30 Travel cover that uses 600D for both the top and bottom and uses 6mm foam. Below is our spec sheet for these covers and they are available from most SUP retailers.

www.flyingobjects.com.au/contact-us/oceania/australia/

RRP = $199.00

Cheers,
Marco

Big Mal make really good covers I had some made in 2009 and they are still going strong , they have been on heaps of OS trips. Send them a cardboard cut out of your board and they can make it for around the same cost of a stock one. Couldn't find the web site but here are their details to contact.

Balin make excellent covers and they are working on the thermal retention problem common with all board bags.
You also get the option to order a Balin Storm 10mm leggy, the BEST leggy for SUP, all made locally Aus.

Am definitely considering the Balin, but going to check out the OAM a bit closer on the weekend.

Cheers,
Scott.
