Thanks for feeling for me Boys and Girls but it is all good. I was silly enough to put the board in that part of the wave. And i came away with a heavily creased board. I can say it is repairable and it will be repaired. It most likely noseride a little better with the added weight in the nose.
Can i also say that i work for Stand Up Paddle Gear Australia and we sell the ECS boards in store. We back this product in how its made and what they are made of. The ECS noserider is great board and i will choose to keep riding this model and brand as i believe in it and so do my Customers and Business Partner.
I will mention that this Board has been in our demo fleet for close to 2 years and has been riding in all kinds of conditions by dozens of people and staff members and it never has missed a beat until owner / operator ( ME ) chose to so something silly. Moral of the story. Surf smart and don't go riding a 2 ft dumping shorey and not expect the something to go wrong.

Hey Kieran any board will break in conditions like that you were just unlucky . I'm surprised more didn't break the way all the boys were pulling into the close outs on the big girls , just charging and nice cutty BTW
awesome..takes some big balls to pull into a tube on a large sup like these.
I had to watch this 3 times to take it all in.
The Nalu seems to be less bouncy on the wave than all the other boards? less chatter and a smother ride or so it looks to me.

It could be the large lump on it helps
Wow the "cruiser" shape (2nd wave) is sexy as hell...
11'6" LSD Bombie Explorer. Jezza at home on it. Matty Boi on fire as well.
I thought the best waves we have had for comp since end of year comp a couple of years ago. Was some really good rides as well as some suicide pull ins. Shore break was bound to claim at least one board.
Fun fun fun.

I agree. Can anyone tell us what board that is?

As Above Luke Short Designs 11'6" Bombie Explorer. A blown up gun. I love mine but find it a bit too much board usually at 161L. Jezza knows how to fit a whole lotta board into a steep wall.
Excellent work kieran
Going down in style
Will be back out there with style in no time.
Great waves and congrats to the crew for making the 10' comp a reality.
Looking forward to seeing more 10' SUP video and competition action throughout Australia.

Solid session boys , great video ..suppose this adds fuel to the fire of 9-6+ class....
You're funny Rob. I might have to put that on the agenda for our AGM. I've now seen 3 ranges of 2017 boards and at least 2 of them have some smaller mal style boards that will be good for our SPSC comps.
