I'd buy a Standamaran if I had the money and more room in the garage
It be a fun board to Paddle on those flat surf days and no wind for a Downwind Paddle days
Be better than laying on the lounge watching TV wait for the surf or wind to pick up

What would it cost delivered to Australia? I reckon it's a travesty that race organisers are outlawing developments like this.

It would have been nice to see someone good at riding one catch a ripple from way out the back and glide all the way in. I heard lots of good stuff from the guy behind the camera and I saw lots of paddling from the guys on the board, err boards, ummmmm, thing.

They look fun.... probably easier to get people out on who are balance deficient.
You could build your own, seen one made from an old windsurfer cut into two lengthwise, sealed up and joined.
Here's a serious build also

I'd like to see a quad standamarang..

Four smaller huls with the front ones closer together alowing a much narrower stance and more importantly a narrower stroke..

I sometimes wish I was Pono Bill and just do it and see and not have to worry about the cost..

Another slower version

Good review here on the earlier models by SIC
