Yes that was an interested SUP race start... but it all adds to the fun and excitement of it.
Looks like I need to work on the Tahitian paddle technique as well... at least that's one advantage of having a camera pointing towards you. I'm sure it captured my cursing after getting catapulted off the board from the jellyfish. That will teach me for laughing at the other guy (Tony) who got thrown off twice or more. Great effort to still come in 2nd too! Well done.
Yes I was going to post that jelly catapult as a special feature, especially for the heart breaking moment when you realised your iPod had drowned. But I thought that might be too mean.
