The SA Summer Ocean Paddling Series will commence this Sunday 11th Sept.
SUPS will race downwind from Seacliff to Glenelg or reverse if wind is from the north.
Event registration can be done online or 1.00 – 1.30pm at O'Sullivans Beach Boat Ramp prior to start of Surf Ski event.
The $20 race fee covers the cost of running the event, insurance & onwater cover. More details on Facebook at South Australian Ocean Paddlers or SA SUP Crew.

The Winter Flatwater Race Series concluded with Fanatic Team paddler, Nat Gohl taking the honors for the men & Starboards Liz Guilhaus for the women.

Due to SSW wind conditions being forecast sundays race will go ahead as organized, 2.30pm start at Seacliff.
Glenelg SLSC have an African roots/reggae band from 3.00 - 6.00pm.... ideal venue for recovery!

Conditions looked good until the sea breeze kicked giving no runners, just sloppy side chop. The eventual winner was Nat Gohl, 14' Fanatic, 2nd: Mark Temple, 14' Lahui Kai & 3rd was Matt Stringer, a huge effort on a 12' Naish.
Liz Guilhaus on a 12'6" took line honors for the ladies
