Will the sprints be on 'stock' boards provided by the organisers (like they did down in vicco a little while ago)?

I reckon that would a great way to go so that it is truly a paddling contest rather than a board design thing..... but that's just my opinion......

and I could have an ulterior motive...... it is painful & expensive trying to get big boards on a plane????

Looking forward to the ROAR INDUSTRIES comp I reacon the Alley is going to be pumping on the day. Better put some posters up at the Alley & maybe write a nice letter to the Alley Boardriders because your comp is sanctioned under Surfing Queensland, & the Alleys club Elpresidenta may get upset.
I have two questions
1. There should be a lot of over 40yo guys in the event any chance for a prize? for the highest over 40yo because I dont think the old guys are going to make the final! as the young guys are just ripping!
2. are you going to include a downwind paddle from Snapper Rocks to the Alley 8km

richo should be alright with it, he sups sometimes himself. as long as everybody behaves at the alley and not try and take over the point bearing in mind the way it is breaking at the moment just requires a bit more patience.
one weekend taking over isn't that bad
