Riggs and Sepa will be in Australia from 8th december for a week. They will be based at Coffs Harbour for the National Outrigger Titles. They are offering private Lessons or group booking for lessons to try and raise some money to pay for there tickets and expenses while they are here.

If you are interested in have a lesson, or going for a surf with Riggs or Sepa and you will be at Coffs for the weekend of racing book in a time.

If we get enough people there on Friday afternoon we will run a surf comp.

Let me know if you guys are interested in a surf comp. We could put $500 on first prize if we get enough people. WHat would be a fair entry fee for a small surf comp, we could get a tshirt and some sponsors.

Who would want to get a lesson from this this little kid?.. Well I'll be the first to throw my hand up..

He can mix it with the best at the BOP and the best at huge Sunset beach.. The kids already a legend in my book.

Maybe he could also teach me some funny faces to pull.. .. you've gotta laugh.

I wonder if little Riggs pulling on that Pipes paddle is like us pulling on a 15" blade..

I would love to hear what he has to say about paddling and technique.. racing.. surfing big waves and even OC stuff.. I wish I lived up that way.

Hey David,

As your aware Kristi had the good fortune to stay with Sam, Sepa, Riggs and co at Noosa for a week this year. (Thats my discalimer so lets get it out the way)

I agreed for my 14yr old daughter (as a dad you can imagine it wasnt easy decision) to stay with all the boys because I wanted her to surf with and learn from some of the best in the world in her age group.

From first hand experience I can tell you that Kristi learned more in that week about how to improve her SUPing than she had learned in six months.

If people on the breeze remember we put up a video after Noosa and everyone said how much she had improved, well we simply worked on what they suggested and we still are.

They took Kristi out to surf breaks like the Boiling Pot etc that she would never have tackled on her own in those conditions.

Even though she got woop assed seriously a few times she totally loved the experience an it did a huge amount for her confidence.

Sepa and Riggs dont just like to SUP, they live it and surf from 6am until its dark and then they go home and think about it some more. Its thier whole life.

If your a beginner or a comp surfer, I dont think it matters how old or young or good or bad you are if you get to learn from or surf with guys like this you will improve.

Call it a wank rave post but thats what I believe, I have personally seen the results

Would love to come down to coffs a day early to surf with the boys, but I'm not sure whether I'll be able squeeze another day of leave from my boss at work. Keep us informed if you do get something organized and I'll do my best to get there.
