The ever innovative SUPWA committee have come up with an exciting progression of our ever popular PaddleLoops for the SUP Central Flatwater20.

Three person teams (including at least one female) will complete a 5km lap each (total 15km) of the circuit course, nominating the time they will do the course in. So it's up to you and your team whether you race it and get a place or you cruise it and try and get closest to your nominated time (prizes awarded to both).

Our monthly PaddleLoops attract 30-70 paddlers of all ages and abilities, which is pretty impressive for little ole WA and the vibe is really all about fun and getting out paddling, rather than racing.

Hope to see our regular PaddleLoopers getting a team together for the SUP Central FW20, check out details here:

I see some symmetry there - an appropriate homage to our sandgroper friends

You should consider a variation for the Maribyrnong 5.0 too.

Light winds forecast for this Sunday Morning, should be a fast track :-)

Race it, Cruise it...you Choose it! It's on this Sunday morning!!!!

To assist you with a team contact our Teams event manager Sue Collins, e-mail secretary@supwa.com.au to get organised with a team. Have you registered?

See you at the SUP Central Flatwater20, go Solo or in a 3 person team.

When? This Sunday morning November 1st from 7am at the Ascot Kayak Club, Garvey Park Ascot. 2 events to choose from.

Go solo, 4 laps & complete the SUP Central Flatwater20 or form a team of 3 & share the load. We can plan a team if you don't have one.
Three person teams (including at least one female) will complete a 5km lap each (total 15km) of the circuit course, you nominate overall time your team will complete the course in. So it's up to you and your team whether you "race it and get a place or you cruise it"and work towards getting close to your nominated time (prizes awarded to both).

The vibe is really all about fun and getting out paddling, rather than racing if that's your preference, a shared paddle loop.
We welcome our regular PaddleLoopers getting a team together for the SUP Central FW20. State Championship medals and trophies will be awarded to Solo categories. Open Elite Category will be first 3 paddlers across the line in female and male regardless of age group. Age division prizes will be awarded to age group paddlers finishing outside the top 3. At least 4 paddlers are required to form a division - age group divisions will be combined otherwise.

*The FW20 is one of the state selection SUPWA events. It is recommended that those athletes looking at state selection for the 2016 marathon team should attend this event. Supporting the racing community, assists in developing new paddlers to our sport. $45 in total for a 3 person team, $15 each or $30 for SUPWA members solo.
