It has been a long wait but it looks like we might get our first real downwinder.
Based on the southerly forecast, we will be going from Mona Vale Basin (Bongin Bongin Basin) around Barrenjoey and finishing at Station Beach. This makes the run around 14kms.
Will confirm rego and start details later.
And, yes Jezza, Kai Lenny will be racing.

Forecast looks good, can't wait, should be a fun paddle

Wont be correct reading until about Thursday likely change a bit between now and then ??

Let's hope this forecast is wrong. It's changing daily at the moment so fingers crossed. Not too sure about paddling all of the way on my left side. Prey for a southerly.

Yeah but we get some amazing DW paddles in that creek which gets us ready for the most EXTREME conditions!!! Not just anyone can paddle THE creek!!!

starting to look a bit better

Here is a bit of an update.
It is looking like the race course will be from Mona Vale Basin around Barenjoey and finish at Station Beach.
Race start is at 12.30 sharp. Race Briefing will be on the beach at the Basin between 12 and 12.15.
Rego is at Narrabeen Surf Club. I suggest you register at 11 and then make your way up to the Basin.
If there is a change in direction - i will post to Seabreeze tomorrow. There will also be a post on the Oceanseries site.
