they are awesome....i dont have one but have used them and they do make a long walk way easier.

Found on the family holiday that the walk from the campsite to the water with 2 sups was a chore, and walking back after SUP was the last thing I wanted to do.

But way to short to justify strapping to the roof of the ute

Any comments appreciated

the best one i have bought so far is the mule at first i was going to return it to the manufacturer with a big turd in it....then realised i was dumb and the mule was the best board carrier by far

Go the Quiver Kaddy they support both sup and longboard comps

I have a quiver kaddy, use it all the time to walk the 800m to the local, lock it up with a bike lock. Also use it a bit to take the Kids boards, towels, mask and snorkles, boogie boards, frisbees, cricket sets, lunch esky...... etc etc to the beach.. Good bit of kit I picked mine up from a surf shop for way less than $500. I can also tow behind bike and it will get a bit of use taking the nippers boards down to surfclub in the commig weeks.

You can build a similar thing to the mule from a bunnings $30 trolley... thats what I would do next.

Every time i get out of the water i feel like my board has taken on water . It is all ways twice as heavy on the way home. I am worried some one will steal it while i am out surfing.

We use our quiver kaddy all the time. Fits 3 SUPs easy. Makes the 500m walk to Caves Beach bearable. Also room for wetties, towels etc in the bottom & paddles down the middle. Luv it to bits & as someone already said, Quiver Kaddy is sponsoring/supporting quite a few SUP events. Also comes with a bike extension for carrying longer sups behind the bike (one in pic is only 8'11" so we didn't use the extension).
Whole trolly folds down to fit into boot of car etc & only takes about 3 minutes to put back up. Can also have wheels removed to fit in a back pack.

And did it come complete or did you need to buy straps etc they are a bit vague on their website......Americans lol

yes i bought mine through an aussie mob. yes it comes with everything you need,straps and wot not. the main reason i like the mule over others is that the board is flat so i have no wind issues. plus i can pack it up in under a minute and can pack it into a small carry bag, i never do. about a minute to have my board in and riding away

Bike lock to act as a deterrent but not many people would find much use with a sawn off trolley!!
