Some great finishes to some of the heats - although I thought DH was under scored on his last wave and sd have gotten through.

poor bastard to lead all the way then make one mistake and lose the pipe masters heart breaking

All morning the 2nd wave of the set was the best one, he takes the 1st wonky one and leaves Jeremy in position. Jeremy did well to maintain composure needing the score with so little time, Kieren will be in a world of self induced pain for weeks. Kind of think Kieren lost it rather than Jeremy won but that's surfing contests.

maybe.....but he did it to someone else earlier....i think it was Dusty who was the victim. Great contest - can not recall seeing so many heats change in the last few mins in one comp before....Shane Dorian said at the start of the final that you want to take the 2nd one.....I wonder if he did not see it...because he could have just held off given he had priority. Good to see that at least he tried to win it and not stop the frenchman from winning. 2nd is still pretty fine achievment. KP has had a cracker of a second half of the season. He looked gone from the WCT for a while there - got some relief from injuries to others and strung some great results together. Class.
