Just wanted to share some photo's from the Hunter Kayak Challenge which was staged on sun 23rd September on the Hunter River in Newcastle.
Six paddle boarders completed the 30 km course from Raymond Terrace to Stockton, with the top five separated by only 3 minutes overall (four hours in total). One paddle boarder completed the 15 km course and one the 55 km course in 8h 30 min.
Overall it was a well run event with great weather in a great location and we hope to get more people involved next year.
Thanks Cameron. I did the 30 km. My friend Matt (who is also doing the Hawkesbury) did the 55 km. Was a big effort considering the heat during the middle of the day.
