The GoPro allows you to take photos every 2 or 5 seconds. I leave it on for the whole session and sort through a couple of thousand photos. Only about 10 or 20 photos are worth keeping.

Yesterday I had the camera set up and ready to go in some sweet head high waves offshore. When I got out there I went to turn it on and it didnt work... I forgot to put in the batteries
And I wasnt going to paddle back in to get them
