Palm Beach round Lion Island it was around 10klms

Star-boards look great - well, they go great too.

Got Andy just but then he paddled 500m more than me. He was flying home.

For the recored: Had about 18 SUPs doing the 8km course around Lion Island. There was a bit of movement amongst the top 7 or 8. Clearly some secret training sessions have been going on. So here are the results as far as I know them:

Sam Parker (Starboard Ace)
Andy Davies (naish Jav)
Pete Meyer - the secret trainer (naish 17)
Steve Morrisson - (SIC 12'6)
Dave Kissane (Starboard 12'6)
Pete Morgan (Starboard 14 OO)
Brad Gaul (Starboard 12'6)
Not sure about the rest at this stage...

And, yes, that is the Brad Gaul who finished a close second in the paddleboard to Jamie Mitchell at Molokai in July this year. He's pretty keen to see how far he can go with SUP but still wants to go one better at Molokai next year....
