Anyone keen for a down winder this weekend before the big one next weekend?
I'm certainly in need of some water time before the Dr race.

personally I'd prefer these options as closer but am happy to do whatever most are keen on.

Problem with this run is you need it to be absolutely howling for it to be good. Because it is protected by Garden Island from any swell getting in, it is purely wind runners. If the 20knts+ on Saturday come in it might be good.

I'd be keen for another sandtrax to trigg run.

Sandtrax to Scarbs/Trigg sounds fine to me.
Count me in.
The Point Peron run will be great in 25knts.

How about sat arvo, port beach to scarbs?
That would be about 15km wouldn't it?

Sounds good Adam, should we meet at Scarbs main carpark and do the car shuffle?

What time say 2pm to be in the water by 3pm?

hey guys second post ever, but would be keen to join in as i'm planning on doing the doctor also.

another option i have been doing during the week is woodies to south beach about 9 kms, just do it twice for the distance (18kms), there is a lot of fetch from garden island, once outside the point, works excellent in a southerly(so from 2 sat arvo would be good) you can sit in the lee of woodies to paddle out to the point (800m)then scream down to south beach, have been getting upto 16kms an hour on the gps, so its a bit of fun.

anyway let me know if anyone is keen on that option ( have a few suggestions of ferrying) otherwise i'd like to join you where ever you end up if that is ok..

North Scarbs carpark at 2pm it is then.
Welcome to the Breeze Krankiman. The more the merrier on the run tomorrow mate.
It will give you a good indication as to what expect for the race. The Woodies/Sth Beach run is a good one, have done it a few times now.
Cheers

Why not if you paddle hard all good. Engine is more important than the board

Where abouts are you Shep? Someone may be near by that can give you a lift.

Come on you ladies, why don't you go out after 4pm when the real wind will be blowing? That's when I finish work at least. Might have to get a lift south when you are ferrying a car back.

Looks like the doctor race will be windy. I have been trying to get onto the race website for the last two days but it wont connect. Can someone put the link up so I can try that. Thanks.

Good run yesterday!!
