The Hawkesbury Classic is fast approaching and as it is an overnight race thought it would be best to do at least one night paddle. Given that this weekend is going to be a relatively full moon thought it would be the perfect chance. Weather is looking better for Saturday night but could change.

Anyone keen?

Exactly! I'll go and set them out before nightfall shouldn't be too hard.

I'm coming Saturday but don't worry Greeny and Hilly, after two months out of the water I won't be much more that a fat spectator.

Hey Cam, sorry I won't be able to make it as we have heaps of family do's over the weekend. When is the classic? Hopefully meet up for a paddle before then.

Was really interesting. You know how you have to feel for runners in the ocean? Way mire at night. Went from Matilda bay up along the foreshore to west Perth, back down along south Perth out around to como and back to Matilda bay. All up about 20kms in 2:12.

Was definitely an experience and on those still summer nights would be very enjoyable.
