Call me telepathetic or whatever but I have been saying for a while that the activity of Ocean paddling in general is about to experience exponential growth.

Ocean Ski's are growing
SUP is growing
Prone Paddle will make a comeback with Kelly and Joel and there devoted followers.
OC1 is growing
Ocean Kayak's are growing.

May be no room out there soon.......

After the event on the weekend it makes me think a better way to run events is as Ocean Paddling events. There are a few already and they seem to be the best events. Salt, Excel, Waikiki etc.

been saying this for a while now- everyone needs more in the ocean then just surfing a shortie or whatever.

one of the biggest regrets for my life was being blinded by just surfing shortboards.

don't get me wrong i love surfing too.
