Hi, just wanted to see if anyone knows of Panda Boards. I'm thinking of having a custom classic sup made by them. It will be my first board and want to make sure they have good stuff. Cheers!

The panda boards are way over priced. Plenty of cheaper boards out there better then these.

agree, for something like the classic. but if you were going for some kind of custom little ripper, it's only a touch dearer than what i know some custom shapers charge.

how do you know how they go?

Has the shaper done many sup ? If not you may also want to consider other experienced sup shapers as well as this crew prior to parting with your $
Not putting the shape or shaper down - just suggesting you do plenty of homework before you commit and $1950 is bloody expensive for a sup in my books.

thanks guys, i agree it's expensive so i wanted to see if anyone has ridden one. I'm happy to support our shapers but want to make sure it rides well. it sounds like the little ripper is a goer. I love the artwork and colours.

maybe ask the guy if he has a demo to test? iv'e never had a board custom made, can you demo the proto type??

go the custom buy australia ,any one can paint a board with a bit of coulour and filler ,they look great but what is underneath ?. paint the blank and then glass over the right way .not fill and spray .1900 DOLLARS is not that dear for the work that goes in to a custom sup .The last 2 i did i used blanks that came from panda.good eps no to light beads were nice and tight , rub ed well , no filler ,glased up nice and white .

Yep I'm going for the panda classic. I always like to support local business and even better when they have a wicked product. Order my board later this week.

Yeah I saw one of these boards at the Mambo last year and was lucky enough to have a real close look.

I must say everything about it looked great, way in front of the production boards that were around at the time.
I think it was the shapers dad's board that I was looking at.

I haven't seen one since but I'm guessing they would have evolved somewhat since over 12 months ago.
