While on a meal break at work the other day in the staff tea room a nurse sitting beside me opened her lunch and I noticed her cool looking little lunch box.

I thought that's what I need for my daily paddles around St Kilda.. I usually stuff a can of coke and a bread roll into my bum bag but now that I have my little stick on tie-down points on my board I might as well use them.

She said that she had just bought it from Target for about $20 so the next day I got one for myself.

I've used it the last couple of days and only have it on for the paddle across and back and take it off once I'm at the pier.. Here's some pictures.

Another great idea from DJ !!

Thanks for now making me spend more money.

Where'd you get the lil' stick on tie down gizmo from ? Looks fine for my 12' Glide.

While I'm on the subject, ever wished you had somewhere to place your board down the beach rather than on rocks or mud ?

I saw this in a longboard mag the other day and thought 'wow, what a great idea' being small enough to store in the car and always at the ready to always show love to our boards between sessions.

The shot was taken in Japan so wondering if anyone has seen anything similar in Oz ?

SHQ sell them and they're about $6 each.. www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=58100

Those board stands look good but it wouldn't want to be windy or un-even ground.

love the paddle shots, you should put some stickers on there so it does not look so plan.

Awesome lunch box set up but like Angie the first thing I noticed was the paddle. It looks naked!
Couldn't read the sticker on the lunch box either.

looks like it works a treat. does the non slip matt under the bag make a difference to movement?

I put it there to stop skuffs and scratches but it does also help with grip.

DJ the kids and I cannot cope without the paddle shots its like your now ridding a short board or something!!!!!!!!!!

If you wont put them in then I suggest every one copies thier fav DJ paddle shot and insert them into DJs posts just to make us all feel at home.
