I am looking at changing the plastic fins my PSH 12 Gun came with to an FCS quad set up. Any recommendations on fin size?

The topic has PSH in it not to mention the 12ft size and no response for nearly 6 hours...WTF where's Hilly, Phil, AA, Blane and the kiwi dude.

I don't know a great deal about PSH but I thought the 12er was a thruster set up, looking at quads. The Sunny Garcia fin could be a good starting point

Thought it had been done to death. Try a search here and on zone heaps on fins try to borrow fins to try.

I stuck with the thruster set up found the quad did not improve the performance of my 10er.

Vector sides and 6.5 centre seems best for me.



Edit - found these I tried small fins in the back too but lacked drive bigger felt better but thruster better.

I have never tried the gun as a quad, it shreads as a thruster.

I think my set up and Hilly's just about the same. Sunny Garcia or PC7 sides wiith a 5 1/2 or 6 center. I also ride it with PC7s all round.

Last night I had 3 hours of rediculous fun at OG on the gun in knee high to waist high glass. Kristi and I surfed till about 10pm. What a way to end a sh!ty day.

I almost got the 360 happening just can't get it back to the beach without the leggie taking me out.

With small fins you can make this boards tail slide right out in cutties and side slip down the wave its the BOMB for big units!
