I thought it was pretty cool..

Maybe a bit stupid and irresponsible.. Maybe even dangerous.. but still pretty cool in my book.. That took guts and he did a pretty good job of it.. IMO.

It looks to me that the SUP got one of the more creditable rides. If he had been able to flick out or ride out the white water it would have been perfect.

It looks like if you get it right it's not that difficult. If you get it wrong ...

Of course, in terms of payback the Wedge looks more like the kind of wave you ride just to say you've done it. There's not much of a ride or a barrel to get and you certainly don't get many turns in.
