Lummers, Zane and I think Andy Davies got through.
The second round was a shocker.
Just the heat before it was absolutely smoking, but then the tide turned and the second round of the SUP was a struggle. Just check out how low the scores are compared to the first round.

There is a lot of water moving around up here as it is a cyclone swell now and the banks at low tide will whack you so hard if you get caught inside. Wave selection was critical in the second round and it cost Casso and Goatman.

The next round starts at 7am tomorrow morning.

Lummers is ripping, as is Kiahi and Billy. All just made it straight through.

Appsy had a shocker. He caught one wave, ripped it up and then broke his leg rope!
Once he was washed down the beach he could not get out again. The rip is ridiculous!
Shame, he would have made it to the next round.

Dogman almost lost out to Woogie, but managed to catch (at the last minute) a pint sized reform all the way to the beach, smashing one turn after another and scored well to go through to the next round.

The boys on the full nosed boards in the first heats got hammered by the fast sucky walls.
Its getting quite messy out there. The repocharge will be a tough round!
