Hi Peeps,

Just had to share a little warmth with ya's considering it is so cold and bleak outside right now in Perth.

Just returned from Ningaloo Reef holiday. Enjoy!

Hi LouD,

It was such a perfect day. Yup! WA Rocks! I got excited about the Fanatic range of SUPS (German attention to quality) and finally saw some real potential in SUP. I lost about 4 kilos up north between surfing and Supping and loved it. Can't wait for the SUP's to arrive. Amped on the Surf and Race boards

See you on the water

Good on ya Darren, I knew you would join the club eventually.
I took a couple of SUP's up last year for the first time and it certainly leaves you spoilt for choice up that way, surf, SUP (waves or lagoons), kite, fish, dive whatever way you spend your day you definitely don't feel guilty have a couple of sunset ales at the end of the day.

I'm pretty right for SUP's ATM....but....would still be keen try one of the 12'6 or 14's if when you have a demo one available.

Hi Kakkerlak,

I can't tell you where I stayed (well kept secret) but we camped on the beach for 6 weeks. It's remote, no services and only a handful of sparcely populated camps permitted.

You can fish most of Ningaloo Reef with the exception of the handful of Sanctuary zones.

@Tim3, you'll have a big time. Just watch the waterfront camps at 3 mile, I hear they are going up to $90 per night for next year. Enjoy the waves!

Hey Tightlines,

It's taken two years to be convinced of the quality, durability and accessibility of SUPping. I was well impressed with what I saw, heard and rode recently at the Fanatic Dealer meeting. Funny, before the meeting I had all but made up my mind to forego SUP for another season, but we have a plan and the right goods, so here we go

Yep, we'll have the red 12'6" and 14' Race boards in for the second drop. We have some 12'6" x 30.5" Wood Race arriving soon and will be available for demo. Should have a good range of stuff to make a drop in to the shop worth while in about a month

And the weather has been like that for most of the last few weeks.
I have to get a camera I think, Yesterday we had some Starboards down the Exmouth Yacht club for demo. Straight off the beach we got to watch 3 dugongs and a calf that didn't mind the sups hanging around.
By the way I like the way you scan all around before jumping in the water.
Alas swell is up today but your back down south eh

Nice...Crystal clear water and plenty of life in the ocean...

If work allows I up that way in the October school holidays via Karijini, how busy does it get in the National Park camp sites, Might head down the coast a bit to one of the stations we have a camper trailer and will be self suffiecent. Weather wise I expect it should be starting to get windy? Kitable most days

I am keen on a demo of the 14 footer for down winders when you get one in.

Cheers

Shane the Ningaloo station has tightened up so you have to get a key from the homestead. Campsites in the National Park are pretty rare in school holidays just luck of the draw. Take a chemical toilet.

October is good for wind and a little bit of swell usually. I am off to the Gold Coast or would see you up there.

Magic place great vid Darren

True hilly although you should be able to get a site in the October holidays. The stations are also a bit quieter then but you will need a portaloo and see the station to get a key, to get off the track.($100 cash bond) Or you can now book some sites in the national park too.
