That's three separate waves though right?? Not a sequence… all different photographers... and the last one he is wearing a hat - NOW thats a cool trick!!!!!
straightening up is NEVER an option at sizey Chopes / Gnaraloo / Pipe etc - you will get smashed if you try that...if you are at those spots that option shouldnt even enter your mind.
the only safe option is to takeoff sideways and pull in- as crazy as that may seem at the time.
