Best brand is the one that suits you best :)
There's no definitive 'best brand' - there's heaps of well-marketed brands (Naish, Starboard, Fanatic etc etc + increasingly Sunova) that produce great stuff. Similarly, there are a LOT of comparatively medium-sized (think. NSP, DC, Deep Oceanboards, Smik or similar) or smaller brands and/or local shapers that don't have the marketing budgets of the big boys but produce boards as good as, if not better, and can also do custom boards for you.
Best bet is to go into a SUP store, have a look around, and get a feel for what you like. Then - demo, demo, demo.
All depends what you're after in a board :) Good luck - doing the research on what you want is a massive part of the fun!
Naish.. Naish.. Naish.. ![]()
Seriously, DJ - I think Robbie will have to start looking at making a 'DJ' model ala the 'Creek' from Sunova! You'd have to be the most prolific unpaid ambassador for a brand around! ![]()
go for the most expensive one you can find ,
they are all good .if it floats you can ride it .
you will know quality when you see it ...![]()
