Retrieved a pretty parcel from the airport today and this horrible surf couldn't have come at a worse time!

Dying to get this new one wet, but for now it looks like it'll have to be with a garden hose

My new baby!

7'6 x 26 1/2 x 4 1 /8

I'm absolutely loving the graphics; touches on my Vietnamese heritage and it really means a lot to me. Props to Tully and his team, never been so keen to but a board in the water!!

FROTHING!

Sparks Kristi's new shooter has a huge concave under the nose to increase paddle on speed, super hard edges for nice tight snappy turns and lots of spiral V in the engine room combined with a thined out swallow. Cant wait to see this puppy on the water.

What we wanted was to retain stability whilst increasing the performance. Tully was right on the spot with the last board and from what I have seen so far hes right on the money again.

7-6 yeh-har , nice looking design on the board would make a good tattoo , carp and the dragon around the yin & yang.

Great looking board another beauty by Tully.

Personally, i wouldn't be transporting that in the new strappy skatey transport option........but then I have trouble standing on a 28" board in flat water..........

Looks seriously sic looking forward to some pics in action!

Nice, love the mini swallow tail that should loosen it up in the smaller stuff.

The brief we gave Tully for the lollypop board was take it out in any conditions and be able to catch waves so it was a compromise between performance and stability. Simply put if you cant catch the wave you dont put a score on the board. This came about when Kristi was riding the 8.0 x 25DC in rough comp conditions like the RAW comp and struggled to stay shiney side up (we went too narrow on that board). We also wanted a board she could transition onto without surprises for Nationals last year.

The brief for the Koi Dragon was to create a board to compliment the lollypop which was more performance oriented for average to good 3 -5ft surf but also retained what we liked and learned from the lollypop.

Mac the sweet spot on the Koi Dragon is moved forward to retain momentum out of turns. The reduced volume and weight are more significant than the images portray and will allow the board to really snap around.

Proof is in the pudding, tomorrow morning is 2-3 ft from the west not ideal but there are a couple spots that should be smokin.

Action images to follow.

Goatie I have already booked flights and accomm for the NSW Comp but work has other ideas, at this point I will prolly be in the States.

It will get a work out at the SA Comp for sure.

Kristi took the Koi Dragon out for a spin this morning and well the pictures tell the tail. Even though she has dropped 4 inches of board the stability is still alltime and even in fat slow OG waves she had a ball. The smile on her face says it all.

Smokin stuff yet again Tully.

Kristi chargin off down the beach.

Double timing it out the back

Going right

Cut back

Going left

Stoked and then some!

Doesnt get much better than that!
