Yeah the gloss finish was kind of an unwanted bonus!
I'd felt Steve's when it was new and that wasn't overly heavy by any means, so when Dan asked if I wanted standard glass or super light like his own ones, I said I'd be happy with standard (thinking durabilty).
Board arrived and Dan pointed out they'd given it a gloss finish even though we hadn't asked for one - he said gloss looks great but does add a tiny bit of weight.
Well, the board with grip and fins is still light as, and with the gloss (as you said) it looks the goods.

I've had a Dtm custom for nearly 7 months now and really happy with durability,been surfing it mostly on open beach breaks so gets a decent beating and besides some rail shatters from my often clumsy paddle strokes

[ will have to apply railtape from new on the next one] its holding together real well

, think we went with the Inegra glass option too,
sounds like your enjoying yours already
