Hey casso looks good.

Do you recon that deck grip job will slow the board down? with all those groves and with water going over the deck it would have to make a little bit of resistance? Maybe ?

Are you coming to the green line race? if you are is that the board you'll be on?

Ha, ha. It took 2 hours out of my happy birthday to do that!

Maybe it will allow the water to drain quicker via all the groves?

The shape of the nose/bow on this baby will potentially redirect water off to the sides as quick as possible - limiting the amount of water on the deck anyway. Yet to be rough water tested - but that's the prediction.

Nah, can't make it. Sounds like it will be an awesome event though.

And you'll need a 3 foot wide one - when you soon reach 'old age'.

That's the 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS. I've also got the 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS and a Canon 2x teleconverter is on the way.

Oh yeah - the HD is awesome. Can't wait to try the 50 fps HD slow motion on the boys grinding through some mega carves.

Get a very good tripod head Casso , trust me you will need it to film with a DSLR and make sure you have the latest Cannon upgrade on the video software , check it out on the cannon site and it simply downloads through a card reader to your memory card.

If you are going to film Full HD at 60fps make sure your computer has had a recent health check because all that info will probably block it arteries.

Great Camera.

Thanks DJ.

DEEP Oceanboards are a new-ish brand made in Queensland, distributed by www.walkonwater.com.au and sold through www.thesupshop.co These guys really know what they are doing in terms of the design and construction of ocean going craft.

My one is a custom but it may end up being the standard production model. You will always be able to get it tweaked if you know what you want - the beauty of having a locally made, non-moulded product.

This one is 27.5" wide and is pretty straight through the bottom contours - nice and simple. The underside of the rails are very rolled up the nose, pretty soft through the middle and sharp in the tail.

Good looking board and nice deckpad Casso, how about a couple of photos to get a better look at the shape.
