Showing your age there Dogman.. Nelson bay Hospital has been an art gallery for many many many years.. I have never SUPed the woppa but have surfed it lots of times.. There is a right hander that breaks for hundreds of meters right through the middle of the bay when the swell is up.. i am definitely going to get on that one day.. but in the month or so i have been SUPing the conditions have not been right..
I dont think i will enter the comp now. Surfing Aus= $56 Entry fee= $66.. probably a bit much to get knocked out in 2 min flat But i will be there with beer and cheers.. Ben

I'm like you Milko, keen but not over $100 keen to be knocked out early. But being a local I will be there to cheer on Wild Bill (termite) the man on the back page, and get a few myself on my McTavish (outside the comp area of course). Looking forward to putting faces to names as well and seeing the boys rip. Hoping to maybe try some other SUP's as well as the opportunities are few and far between here. Bring it on, hopefully 3-4ft plus for the comp. We have had a good run of late.........
