Hey guys,

Here is my new board from Laguna Bay. It's the same length as the my blue one but it's down to 26.5 wide and we cut some out of the thickness. Wobbly is probably a bit of an understatement but I am able to stand still on it well enough.

Not sure the exact weight of it, but it feels ridiculously light carrying it and it goes amazing in some decent size waves.

Anyway here are some pictures and a video below. Check the spray as well. it's pretty sick. Oh and the board doesn't have a spray on it in the video because we were seeing if floated me first and it was a bit last minute.

Nice last wave!was that from poiling pot into nationals? Keahi, what was the width of your last sup?,also is it the same measurements thru the nose and tail, also how much thinner did Tully go? looks like you could surf that board without the paddle.

Nah that was just one wave from right out the back of Tee Tree to the beach. I think it was like 1 minute something long, lol.

My last sup was 27 by 4 and I think he took a quarter inch out of it. Not sure about the Nose and tail but its a pretty similar outline except for the fact that the other one had flyers in the tail. And yes it would work good without a paddle

Sick board. Phat waves. Wicked riding. Is that the correct terminology you young whippersnappers use these days?

See you on Sunday, young man!

Nice Vid. Beautiful wave, but!

Deep breath here as I will get flamed I know.

When you hit the top Keahi can you please sink a rail. If I was coaching you that is really where you need to develop.
At this point you should be on the rail you tend to turn the board flat.

All respects you are really good; I think you could be better. IMHO.

Sick looking shape and great spray job! I'm guessing the spray is on the outside then? Did you put a clear coat over the top?

I like the turn at about 1:48 seconds! Looks shortboard like!

Nah a bit of criticism is all good. I have been trying to do a few more turns of the rail and I think some the other turns in that vid show it somewhat. I find you need a bit more of a steeper wave to get it on rail more and it doesn't help when you have to bottom turn around people like I did on that one shot.

Bnaccas: Yes the spray is on the outside and yes it does have a clear coat over it. Yea I like that turn at 1.48. Felt like I went more on rail on that one.

Piros: Leaving tomorrow for port so can't shoot. We don't surf till Sunday.

Might not have internet over the next few days so if I don't reply thats why.

Board looks sic Keahi, I like the 'foil' view! Has this one got a touch more nose and tail lift?

I can't wait to get mine now. Have ordered a 'pointy nose' version

I am guessing the flatter turns that Hilly mentions are something you have developed to make the boards looser and bit more 'slidy'?
