The over the hill reference is an in joke, he is past 50 I am just not
He kindly made the wave bigger and board more vertical, don't you love artistic licence, thanx Steve

Think it is an arty thing

Probably balancing the blue with a complimentary colour.

i just checked up on your photos. there is some sunlight rays hitting your foot

Agree the Mano does not have the aesthetics of the wood boards but they do surf well
