This is my first video with the Seabreeze funded camera. Thank you again to all who contributed.

I haven't rigged up a new SuckerCam mount as I'm still trying to source the sucker but this new paddle mount works well and provides a different angle. Hope you like it (and don't get too seasick).

"Monawood"
Due to an unpredicted wind change after an hour of surfing, Casso relocates to the next beach and continues his session in more optimal conditions. This is his "Monawood" session.

Pretty cool, Casso. Prefer the paddle-mount video to the board mount (but hard to beat the beach shots, like the video of you taken by your daughter during your hols); makes your sup look like a 6'3", rather than 9'3"!!
What's the 9'3" like in chop? I've come down from 11' to 9'8", & loving it. Feels like going from mal to shortboard (almost), but the 9'3" may be my next board (in 12 months' time). Is it a bit tippy while you're waiting between sets? As AA said re the 9'6": do you have to constantly keep paddling to maintain stability?

The 9'3" Ripper is fine in the chop - that's an advantage of a slightly heavier board. I've ridden some lightweight boards which can tend to "flap" around a little but the 9'3" Ripper cuts/drives through chop better.

Any board around 9' is going to be a little tricky to stand on when waiting out the back, for anyone over 80kgs. The 9'3" Ripper is no harder than other boards I've tried around this size and is in fact easier than some that are bigger.

Nice Casso, very nice. Good to have you back ' in production ' Looked like you nearly gave that guy paddling out a haircut at the 2.00 minute mark.

Yep, great vid! That board looks like it goes real good. I haven't had a chance to ride one yet but hopefully soon. I might have to pop into SHQ to see if they have one lying around!

At 2.13 you talk about production models-is yours a production or custom/semi-custom model?

I was privileged to get short paddle on Casso's board last weekend in atrocious 20knot windy bumpy conditions-still surprisingly paddleable in those conditions-after that went and surfed the 6'6" mini gun in all time N Av.....hmmmmmmm

My PSH is the standard production model straight "off the racks". What you rode on Saturday is exactly what is coming in the next shipment (except for my custom deck grip design!).

Nth Av on Sat arvo - that would've been pretty sweet.

I can vouch for the stability of the 9'3 Ripper. Had mine now for 4 weeks and absolutely loving it. I weigh 83kgs (thought I was 80 ) but have found it stable enough in a range of conditions now.

This weekend was classic here in Sydney. Late Sat arvo at long reef was going off - long walling head high + hollow freight trains. It went flat yesterday morning then by the arvo was 6-8 foot again!!! I got absolutely smashed on one on the Point.

Went out first light this morning and got the 2 biggest and best waves I have had in my short time on a SUP. One was a six foot (swell size) monster from near the point to half way down the pole - was sh!tting myself!! The board absolutely cranks off the bottom on a bigger wave - no tracking at all - with heaps of drive. It also feels nice and loose in small waves as well.
