Hawk and I went for a SUP at Metts this morning.
Scored a set wave of the day. Super stoked. Just ask Hawk to tell you about it.
We were the first ones out but it wasnt long before the crowd settled in.
Kitersi was at Toms and said he could see us.
I took these photos before I left

I don't want to build up his ego, but I have to admit that he is right. I turned around and saw Greeny catch a good head high wave (mind you he is only 5 feet tall even with the dreadies!) and then make a very nice bottom turn. The only bugger was that the wind was a little strong making those first couple of paddles to catch a wave difficult. I think i need to spend a bit more time in nice knee to waist stuff before tackling the bigger stuff.

Great pictures again..Thanks...I'm going to have to lift my game with my pics to keep up.

Beautiful waves...Don't-cha hate those close out sets...Nice size waves for sup'ing.

Come on it was bigger than head high
Si sent me a text to see if I was using a wide angle lense to fit my head in

Yeah maybe it was head high on me, so that would make it a couple of feet above your head!!! But by next week the stories will be double head high!! We always have the photos for proof.

just got back from scarbs.

a few ripper rights were had - the banks have definately deteriorated a bit- but still some nice zipper waves to be had

worth going out but a few more close outs - bring on the next nw er to stir up those banks!
