Nice pics. Looks beautiful as always.
Thanks for your comments mate....you are always very upbeat....despite the colder water down your way & the seals & the sealions nipping at your heels.....& even a great white chasing the sealy things perhaps

But on the other hand pipefins does seem to stick to the warmer waters lol
Ha ha, the waters fairly warm at the moment - about 17deg and haven't seen any sharks or seals for a long while. Definitely get them around the peninsular though, always looking for big shadows in the water! I actually saw a couple of dolphins the other day just out back, they usually stick to the harbours.
As for pipefins, I'll do a "trading places" with him for a couple of weeks. He can get schooled in the land of cold water, shortboarder agro localism and earthquakes and I can score some primo waves in warmer water with some other mellow SUPers.
Its been mostly average messy small surf over the xmas break. Had a couple of good sessions in small clean 2ft and one clean overhead 3-4ft afternoon but made the mistake of taking out my 7'8 and was way undergunned in the fatter high tide surf.
One day I will come up to Giz and boost the number of SUPs in the water
