Nice. The 17 looked to be sliding along very nicely!

It was a really fun downwinder, even though there wasn't much wind the direction was perfect and the swell pretty clean. The Coreban 12'6 is a great little board, really enjoyed it.

There is certainly a place for a light weight 12'6 in the down wind quiver IMO, so much fun being able to accelerate and change direction quickly to make the most out of those little waves.

I think the Coreban has a reasonably similar rocker to my !2'6 Starboard Surf Race, they both catch anything going. The Coreban has more of a traditional surfboard feel than the Surf Race - feels to me very much like a smaller version of the Bill Foote Maliko 14. You have to be active on all three of these boards, get forward to get the nose down to get onto the wave then move back to stop pearling, but when you do they are awesome.
