Yes it is, North Coast of NSW. Anyone know who this is? Guy is ripping, some of the best Sup surfing I have seen on Vid - and I have seen most of em

Don't know him, but that board really suits that wave. Seems like it has a heap of rocker but still plenty of drive. Would love something like that for decent Sydney waves.

I haven't seen Mike for many years, I used to wavesail with him around the southern Goldy/Nth NSW. He pushed me to get out in some very big surf when I was young... Inspirational guy.

That question has lead me to wonder of George Greenough has had a crack at a SUP design yet???

What i find odd is there is some awsome wave riders and there vids, But you never see any with them doing a paddle over the wash on the way back out.

Awesome to see the caliber of SUP surfing stepping up! Good solid moves and a smooth style! I wish more anti-sup guys would realize how the sport is progressing and that SUP is a valid and fun alternative to "crawling"

yes sunny ive got one for sale on this site,its a bit bigger but a lot more user friendly.it paddles a lot better than the 8'4 but still surfs really good.

Lennox can be interesting to say the least getting in and out of the water with a regular shortboard, I think it would be
WAY MORE interesting with a SUB in on hand and paddle in the other!

edit...Really good surfing there. Thats getting a board in it's rail!

I thoroughly enjoyed the vid! That guy was ripping it more like a shortboard - shortSUP is here to stay...
