I have to agree GR,
I love that vid because he make it look effortless on such a bigass board.
I do like the wickety wack of the shorter boards but the grace and flow of the longer board SUPing definitely has its place. Timing, balance and cross stepping all have to be just right to get those moves to work that well.
Guys like Keahi and Lummers etc that have the whole deal covered old school and new school get my vote, on the nose one second and then cracking the lip the next.
I think the easier you make it look the more skilled you have to be, but when its judged in comps you often dont get the rewards as it doesnt look like your working hard enough?
