Ha ha ha, I did make a few barrels the week before out there but none this day! Its a tricky wave that requires a lot of elements to come together just right!!!!
I reckon it was the paddle that hit me but who knows! I was under for a fair while in quite a daze! 
The board is the Fanatic 9'9 semi gun! Such a weapon and with lots of rocker to boot!!!!!!!!
