Hey DJ,

I took that image at the Aussie SUP Titles this year.

Keahi, Geoff, Jackson and Beau put on a real show of airs and power surfing.

It was great to hear the judges flipping out, best SUP surfing I have seen by far.

SUP Surfing earned a lot of street cred that day.

Kristi and I call it the Wolf Creek morning lol.

I love that image, you guys were having so much fun on the race boards that morning.

I hooked up with Aussie a fantastic local guy on the break water and we started talking TOG, lens, filters etc.

Next thing you know he offered to take us on an adventure up the coast in his 4x4 (wolf creek reference), turned out to be a great mate of Sharpies.

With Sharpie in tow and boards in the 4x4s we had to rescue a bogged 4x4 on the way and had a macking afternoon cruising around.

Aussie joined us at Middle Rock the next day for the comp and we played around with his settings, and he took some of the best images of his life.

What made my day was he left with a beaming cheshire cat smile and some all time images.

Thats what surf trips are all about in my opinion.

Winging it, helping out a mate, Wolf Creeking it and having a ball.
