Yikes, just searched for my last post on here - 4 Jul 2013 9:18PM and that was to say that I've not posted for a while! Spent a few hours catching up with posts and info.We were back at our usual spot in Rhosneigr, N Wales, 2 weeks ago and some cheeky sod called my board an antique - ok it's 11 years old but still works!I posted this pic some time ago when this little lad was being sized up for a paddle and I asked for advice on here:

He'd be 11 years old in that pic, he's now 20 and catching any wave that pops up:

When we started paddling here we were the only SUPs and had loads of people asking about them, on the weekend above there were loads out, mostly inflatable, but great to see so many taking up the sport.

Was your question whether that paddle was a bit long

Welcome back! (I had never been on a sup when you last posted.)

Cheers, that makes me feel so much better!!I had asked if I should cut it down to fit and if so by how much - general consensus was leave it as it is and let him grow into it! He has, and passed me and moved onto a better spoon.
