Whats your take on it? This is mine.

Surfed lots of boards, still after the perfect 2 board surf quiver, that works in solid waves and tiny stuff.

May have arrived today.

At 105kg and living in a state free of custom builders I believe Blane Chambers makes the best sups for solid waves that suit me. Heavy back foot and bumpy offshore reefs. Love his 9 2 but it is serious work for me unless it is perfect, which is not that frequent over here.

Forget 30"+ they just do not work in solid waves. In Marty Littlewood's immortal works "width is your enemy at speed". If you do not know Marty google Delta Designs he has shaped boards for years, influenced JL sups which rip too.

So the brief - rip in good waves, have fun in tiny stuff and be solid in massive stuff. To address this I got the new 9 7 ripper and the 10 6AA Any Kine. They look the goods - construction a step up on previous efforts lighter and stronger. I will let you know how they go if the nuclear winds ever give out :(

9 7 has more rocker than the 9 2 and the 10 6 has the thinnest tail I have seen. Looking good. 9 7 top white 9 2 middle and 10 6 bottom orange rail.

Is that 10'6 the new model ... pvc vaccuum bagged etc. If so, what's the pricing on the new allrounder range in this construction? Have you tried any of the other new allrounders (10'6 too much for a skinny little weed like me.)

New 10 6 not tried any others as just out. Try AA at Balmoral Boards for a price.

Anyone got a better 2 board wave quiver for 100+ club? Love the reds thanks guys

Saturday must seem a long way off with new toys in the shed.
Do you usually go the quad set-up?

I've found my 2 board quiver but I'm in the 70-75kg club.
Been using the 9'6 x 27 lately because the 8'5 x 29 is getting fixed by Dutsy.
Never thought I'd use the 9'6 in small waves but surprisingly it has been really fun.
I don't have a Duc Hilly but got a Trek mtb. That seems to settle me down when there's no wind or waves

Hate to say it mate but there is one board missing and it is a lot longer than what you have there! That said that is a sweet quiver!

Let me have a stab at how it will pan out....
For your weight the new 9-7 Ripper will be the goods.
At 90kg the 9-2 ripper is my board of choice in just about anything.
It is a no brainer if conditions are not too choppy. The 9-2 rips and will be hard to beat so I am keen to hear your feedback
The new PVC construction will give the 9-7 the edge for you as it is light, stable and durability is really impressive. It should feel like a 9-2 with more glide. It should also be agile and quick. Go get em!

The 10-6 Any Kine is the dark horse and after one session at the Manly yesterday it really opened my eyes to what you can do on this board. I had ridden the 12-6 Hull Ocean that morning and the new 9-7 Hull Ripper the day before that, so once I had dialled in the foot placement on the 10-6 this board really came alive.
I really though it would be too big to throw around. I rode it as a thruster and it was a very sweet ride. For those bigger days your going to be stoked. Promise!

Once you have nailed down the right two short boards, just add the 12-6 Hull Ocean and you have all bases covered!
