Got to test out the infinity whiplash yesterday.
Was the 27 wide version. Bit to wide for pure flat water paddling , I reckon the 24/25 width would be an awesome board to paddle. 27 perfect for someone who doesn't ever want to get their hair wet
Not the best footage but you get the idea.
Hey mate, I don't know scale/actual weight and can't find it online either.
To compare though... I paddle the 2016 14 falcon and that is between 10-11kg and I rate that as fairly light for a production board, everything else I pick up always seems heavier than my 2016 falcon. unless its something 24 wide.
This 27 wide Whiplash is bloody light. feels seriously as light as my falcon. I would think the 25 wide version wouldn't be heavier than 10kgs.
I haven't paddled for weeks until yesterday and really didn't do this board justice over 5km but I did put in a couple short sprints and the board felt really good even for 27 wide.
checked online and I see a website with it listed for $3400 in aus. that is pretty good price point compared to some of the other bigger production brands.
