How cool is it to be able to paddle to work!

I work as a carpenter in Gothenburg Sweden, and last week I ended up working at a building site 10 meters from the river/canal. The canal goes right through the centre of gothenburg.
So got up a bit earlyer than normal, I do not sup as fast as I cykel.
3,7 km easy going, nice little current to help me under all the brigdes, 6' warm, fresh and sunny.
I think a lot of pepole could not belive what they saw that morning, a few was hanging out of there windows to get a better look at me gliding down the river.

On the way back, in the afternoon pepole stop to take photos.
paddling back was harder, no help from the current, but it was a fab training.

I'm sure that I made a lot of pepole smile that day
