On my recent trip to the Goldie I brought a Pacific long board Magazine at a shop in Kirra ,When I had a look init there was an article and Photos by Logan Murry ,arguably NZs best surf Photograher. Gizzie and I quite often see Logan early in the morning at Makaroi shooting the sun rise , I don't notice him till I see the sheep running on the hill on the otherside of the road (shut up DJ ) .Any way looking a bit harder here was a shot of Giz & I at the point .
Giz is the one doing the paddle of shame lol
Sounded good when I told the Grandsons but got called an old W--ka when they saw the Mag
Apparently it was me ""not standing on my own two feet" in pic 3....probly just another old try hard trying to catch his breath lol
But wait up....if that be me kneeling in pic one at least i paddling bravely toward the breaking wave.....you seem to be paddling almost away from it (but could be a tactical manouvre of course
